Can you ride a giant spider in 'Dragon Age: Origins' on EA Games?

Dragon Age’s fantasy needs creepy-crawly mounts, and a giant spider fits. Is the 'Arachnid Mount'—unlocked after defeating the Broodmother in the Deep Roads? Does it climb walls and ceilings, shoot webbing to trap enemies, and its venomous bite poisons darkspawn for 10 damage over 5 seconds?
