Does 'Dead Space 4' on EA Games have a Necromorph that can split into smaller creatures?

Dead Space’s horror needs swarm threats, and a splitting Necromorph fits. Is the 'Swarm Necromorph' a new enemy—found in the game’s infested spaceship levels? Does it split into 5 small creatures when damaged, each biting Isaac (dealing 10 damage), and the small ones merge back into a large one after 15 seconds?
