Does 'Dead Space Remake' on EA Games have a co-op mode where you play as Isaac and Ellie?

Dead Space’s horror needs teamwork, and an Isaac-Ellie co-op fits. Is the 'Marker Partners' mode—unlocked after beating the single-player campaign? Does it let you play as Isaac (with stasis) and Ellie (with a plasma cutter), solve puzzles that require both abilities, and unique dialogue where they banter about surviving the Ishimura?
