Sea of Thieves’ mermaids are tied to the ocean’s magic, and a mermaid queen’s trident would be a powerful weapon. Do you need to collect 15 'Mermaid Pearls' from sunken ships (found only in stormy waters) and offer them to a mermaid statue? Does the mermaid queen appear and gift you a 'Tide Trident' that shoots water bolts, controls waves, and lets you breathe underwater indefinitely?
