Will 'Into the Breach: Ice Mechs' let iOS players freeze enemy units?

Can iOS players deploy ice mechs that freeze enemy units in place, and will frozen enemies shatter when hit—dealing extra damage, while overusing ice attacks causes the mech to overheat—needing a turn to thaw before attacking again?
