How to Clean Switch Dock: Keep It Dust-Free

Cleaning your Switch Dock prevents overheating and keeps it looking new. Unplug the dock from power and remove the Switch. Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe the exterior, including the top and sides. For the vents (on the top and back), use a can of compressed air to blow out dust—hold the can 6 inches away and spray in short bursts. Clean the HDMI and USB ports with a dry cotton swab—gently twist the swab to remove debris. If there’s sticky residue (from stickers or spills), dampen a cloth with water and a drop of mild soap, then wipe the area and dry immediately. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can scratch the dock. Clean the dock every 1-2 months for optimal performance.
