Cleaning Joy-Con analog sticks helps prevent drift and keeps them responsive. Start by removing the Joy-Cons from the Switch. Use a can of compressed air to blow debris out of the analog stick housing—hold the stick in a circular motion while spraying short bursts to dislodge dust. For sticky or unresponsive sticks, use a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher) to gently擦拭 the base of the stick and the surrounding housing. Avoid getting liquid inside the Joy-Con, as this can damage internal components. Let the sticks dry completely before reattaching. Use analog stick covers (like KontrolFreek grips) after cleaning to reduce friction and keep dirt out. Clean the sticks every 1-2 months for regular use.
