Cleaning Joy-Con buttons fixes stickiness and improves responsiveness. Remove the Joy-Cons from the Switch and turn them off. Use a can of compressed air to blow debris out from between the buttons—hold the can 6 inches away and spray short bursts. For sticky buttons, dampen a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol (70%) and gently擦拭 around the edges of the button. Avoid getting liquid inside the Joy-Con, as this can damage internal components. If the button is still sticky, gently pry the button cap off with a plastic tool (like a spudger) to avoid scratching. Wipe the button’s contact pad and the Joy-Con’s surface with the alcohol-dampened swab. Let it dry completely, then reattach the button cap by pressing it firmly until it clicks. Clean buttons every 1-2 months for regular use.
