Cleaning your Joy-Cons regularly keeps them germ-free and functioning well. Start by removing the Joy-Cons from the Switch. Use a microfiber cloth dampened with water to wipe the exterior, including the buttons and analog sticks. For stubborn dirt, use a cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher) to clean around the buttons and analog stick housing. Avoid getting liquid inside the Joy-Cons, as this can damage internal components. Clean the rail connector (where Joy-Cons attach to the Switch) with a dry cotton swab to remove dust. Let the Joy-Cons dry completely before reattaching them. For analog sticks, use compressed air to blow out debris from the housing.
