Fixing Switch overheating prevents hardware damage and performance issues. First, move the console to a cool, well-ventilated area—avoid direct sunlight, blankets, or enclosed spaces like backpacks. Ensure the console’s air vents (on the top and bottom) are not blocked by dust or objects. Clean the vents with compressed air—hold the can 6 inches away and spray short bursts to remove dust. Lower the screen brightness: go to 'System Settings' > 'Screen Brightness' and set it to 50% or lower. Disable vibration: turn off vibration in-game or via 'System Settings' > 'Controllers and Sensors' > 'Vibration Intensity' > 'Off'. Take breaks during long play sessions—turn off the console for 10 minutes every 2 hours to let it cool. If the console feels hot to the touch or shuts down unexpectedly, stop using it immediately and contact Nintendo Support, as this may indicate a hardware issue.
