If your Switch has weak Wi-Fi signal, start by repositioning the console and router. Move the Switch closer to the router—walls, metal objects, and other electronics can interfere with the signal. Place the router in a central location, away from floors and corners, to maximize coverage. Update your router’s firmware to the latest version, as outdated firmware often causes signal instability. Change the router’s Wi-Fi channel: use a tool like Wi-Fi Analyzer to find a less crowded channel (2.4GHz channels 1, 6, 11 are least overlapping). Enable WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) on the router to prioritize gaming traffic. If using 5GHz Wi-Fi, switch to 2.4GHz for better range, though 5GHz is faster for close distances. Add a Wi-Fi extender if the router is too far from the Switch.
