How to Use Switch Parental Controls to Block Mature Content

Blocking mature content on Switch is easy with Parental Controls. Open the Parental Controls app or go to 'System Settings' > 'Parental Controls' on the console. Set an age rating filter—choose from 3+, 7+, 12+, 16+, or 18+—games above the rating will require a PIN to play. To block specific games, go to 'Manage Software' and select 'Restrict Software' for individual titles. Disable in-game purchases to prevent buying mature DLC or microtransactions.
