Setting playtime limits on Switch helps manage screen time for kids. Open the Parental Controls app (iOS/Android) or go to 'System Settings' > 'Parental Controls' on the console. Link your Nintendo Account if prompted, then select 'Play Time Limits'. Choose 'Daily Limit' and set the number of hours (e.g., 2 hours on weekdays, 3 on weekends). Enable 'Bedtime Alarm' to block gameplay after a specific time (e.g., 9 PM). The console will send a warning 10 minutes before time is up, then pause gameplay when the limit is reached. You can grant extra time remotely via the app if needed. View a monthly activity report to see which games your child played and how long.
