If your Switch Dock’s HDMI port is broken, first check if it’s loose or has debris. Use a dry cotton swab to gently clean the port—debris can prevent a proper connection. If the port is loose or bent, don’t try to fix it yourself, as you may damage the dock further. Contact Nintendo Support for official repair: they’ll assess the damage and quote a fee (usually $50-$80). Third-party repair shops also fix HDMI ports for a similar price, but ensure they use genuine Nintendo parts. If repair is too expensive, consider buying a new dock—official docks cost around $90, while third-party docks are cheaper (but check compatibility). To prevent future damage, avoid yanking the HDMI cable—disconnect it gently.
