Changing your Switch eShop region lets you access games and deals not available in your home region. Create a new Nintendo Account with the desired region (e.g., Japan, Canada) using a valid email. On the Switch, go to 'System Settings' > 'User' > 'Add User' and link the new account. Select the new user profile, open the eShop, and it will load the region’s store. To buy games, use a gift card for that region (available on Amazon or regional retailers)—credit cards from other regions won’t work. Downloaded games are tied to the account, but you can play them on any user profile on the console. Note that some games may not have English subtitles, so check the game’s description before buying. You can switch between regions by switching user profiles.
