The Switch Pro Controller has a long battery life (up to 40 hours), but you can extend it further. Lower the controller’s rumble intensity in 'System Settings' > 'Controllers and Sensors' > 'Controller Rumble'—reducing it to 50% saves power. Turn off the controller when not in use by holding the power button for 3 seconds, instead of letting it auto-sleep. Avoid using the controller while charging if possible, as frequent partial charges can reduce battery lifespan. Check the battery level by pressing the SYNC button—four lit lights mean full charge, one light means 25% or less. If battery life drops below 10 hours, it may be time to replace the battery or contact Nintendo for repair.
