Some console games don’t shy away from dark themes like death, grief, corruption, or moral ambiguity—and when done well, these themes can make the game deeply thought-provoking—so which console games do you think explore dark themes brilliantly, and what makes their approach effective? Did they handle the themes with sensitivity, avoid being too edgy for the sake of it, or make you question your own beliefs or choices, and did playing the game lead you to think about these themes in a new way outside of gaming?
