Forspoken follows Frey Holland, a young woman transported to a magical world (Athia) on consoles, with parkour movement and powerful magic abilities, but what about its parkour system—did the ability to run, jump, and glide across Athia’s landscapes feel fluid and exciting, or did it feel clunky and unrefined? How did the game’s magic system (with different elements like fire or earth) add variety to the combat, and did you enjoy experimenting with different spell combinations? Also, what did you think of the game’s story (about Frey trying to find a way home and stop the ‘Break’ that’s destroying Athia) and characters, and did Frey’s personality grow on you, or did you find her unlikable? And how did Athia compare to other open-world games on consoles—was it filled with interesting side content, or did it feel empty?
