Mario Party Superstars (a Nintendo Switch party game) is playable on PC via emulators like Yuzu, featuring classic minigames from old Mario Party games (e.g., ‘Bowser’s Big Blast’—guessing which pipe is safe) and 5 classic boards (like ‘Peach’s Birthday Cake’). For PC players who grew up with Mario Party on N64/GameCube, what’s the most nostalgic minigame—Was it a simple one (like ‘Coin Shower Flower’—collecting coins) or a competitive one (like ‘Shy Guy Says’—following commands)? How did the emulator’s online mode work—Did you play with friends online (with minimal lag) or locally (using multiple controllers), and did it feel like the original console experience? Additionally, Mario Party Superstars has no ‘motion controls’ (unlike newer Mario Party games)—Did this make it more accessible (no waving controllers around) or less fun (missing silly motion minigames)? Finally, why do you think Mario Party is a staple party game—Is it the mix of board game strategy and minigame chaos, or the Mario characters (everyone knows Mario and Luigi)? Would you recommend emulating Superstars over buying a Switch for the game?
