Many PC players enjoy WarioWare: Get It Together! (a Nintendo Switch party game) via emulators like Yuzu, where 1-4 players play ‘microgames’—10-second challenges (e.g., ‘Pop a balloon,’ ‘Fix a leaky pipe’) using Wario and his friends (each with unique abilities, like Wario’s charge attack). For PC players who’ve emulated it with friends, what’s the most chaotic microgame—Was it a fast-paced one (needing to react in 2 seconds) or a tricky one (figuring out how to use a character’s ability)? How did the emulator’s controls work—Did you use controllers (for better accuracy) or keyboard/mouse (for convenience), and did you have issues with lag during quick microgames? Additionally, WarioWare has a ‘Story Mode’ and a ‘Party Mode’—Did your group skip Story Mode to jump into Party Mode (endless microgames), or did Story Mode help new players learn character abilities? Finally, why do you think WarioWare works as a party game—Is it the short microgames (perfect for quick turns) or the silly humor (making even failures fun)? Would you recommend emulating it if you don’t own a Switch?
