Platformers (games where you jump, run, and navigate obstacles) have been around since the early days of consoles, but why do you think they’re timeless? Is it the simple yet satisfying gameplay (like nailing a perfect jump or collecting items), the colorful worlds and charming characters, the way they appeal to both kids and adults, or the fact that they’re easy to pick up but hard to master, and have you ever played a modern console platformer that felt just as fun as the classic ones from your childhood?
